"I am a painter and jewelry designer and feel the need for realization of my painterly motifs on the carrier jewelry. Another medium or material as is common or known in painting. Thus, I detach this from the paper or canvas. I paint on metal, which becomes the subject of my jewelry and captures moments of the act of painting. Jewelry gives the opportunity to create miniature works of art that can be worn on the body. I find it exciting to see an object, which is characterized by painting, in dialogue with the movement of the person wearing it. The appearance of the person wearing the jewelry is in context with the dynamics of the paint application.
I also feel that painting can not be reduced to the material or the tool that you use during the act of painting. Painting had many levels. When an art-making person creates a collage or, for example, bends a wire to represent something - for me, that's painting."
