Jewelry and body related objects
Designing and making jewelry and objects in relation to people is our theme. Our students find everything they need for this in the goldsmith workshop.
Equipped with 26 workstations and all relevant machines and tools, we offer our students the opportunity to professionally realize their jewelry ideas.
Goldsmiths who have already been trained can also constantly expand and deepen their knowledge of design and work techniques here. The title of master craftswoman and master craftsman can be acquired in parallel with the studies.
A laser welder, a precious metal casting facility with options for mold making as well as molding and duplicating, an enamel workshop and an electroplating shop for surface finishing round out the goldsmith's offerings for implementing semester projects.
Also alternative jewelry materials such as porcelain, glass or casting resins and woods just like textile materials are explored and used here. Thus, unique works are created in many classic, but also unusual and sensual materials in traditional and experimental techniques.
