AStA

AStA stands for “Allgemeiner Studierenden-Ausschuss” (General Students’ Committee). The AStA represents the interests of the students at HAWK. These include, for example: 

• Management of student body funds
• Allocation of funds to projects 
• Organisation of events to promote local culture

The AStA is appointed by the student parliament, which in turn is elected annually by HAWK students.
