Vita
Wolfgang Viöl is married and father of 4 children.
In 2007 he was awarded the Lower Saxony Science Prize as an outstanding scientist, in 2004 the Cooperation Prize of the State of Lower Saxony for successful partnerships between science and industry, and in 2015 the Joseph von Fraunhofer Prize for Technology for People.
To date, he has published well over 200 publications and 50 patent families.
Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Viöl has been HAWK Vice President for Research and Transfer since 2011.
