Debbie Wijskamp studied Product Design at the University of the Arts in Arnhem (ArtEZ), the Netherlands. After her graduation in 2009 she has been operating her design practice. She designs and produces her own collection of handmade interior products and other objects, and Debbie collaborates with and designs for companies and brands.
In 2016 she opened her new atelier space, gallery and shop in Fashion & Design District ‘Het Modekwartier‘ in Arnhem. She runs courses and workshops from her atelier, and gives guest lectures at art universities. In this lecture she will talk about what the past 15 years after graduation have brought her, and she will talk about her Paperpulp Collection, amongst other projects.
The lecture by Debbie Wijskamp as part of the open lecture series ‘Design am Mittwoch’ will take place on Wednesday, 27 November at 17:00 in the Cafete in House B of the Faculty of Design at Renatastrasse 11 in Hildesheim. Admission is free.
